Ten Historical Plaques Around Town

Below are images of our town's historical plaques. Their locations can be found on the Discover Juno Beach Tour map.

How the plaques were created: A Juno Beach history team began meeting in 2017 with the aim of promoting local history. Soon after, they formed the Juno Beach Historical Society and, discussing options, decided to propose the creation of several historical plaques. The Town Council was supportive and asked them to form a formal Landmarks Advisory Committee. Tthe group went on to create ten plaques as well as the tour map and guide.

The members as shown were Bruce Franson, Matt Pazanski (Chair), Kathy Fahy, Roger Buckwalter, Peggy Wheeler, Jim Ferguson, and DD Halpern.
