Bessie DuBois, born in 1903, spent her adulthood living beside the Jupiter Inlet. In her 1978 book, she provided vivid accounts of life in Juno and of the development of Juno Beach through its Motel Era. DuBois Park by the Jupiter Inlet is named after her family and the 1898 DuBois Pioneer Home is a museum.
Daniel Corbett was an attorney, realtor, Town Councilor, and occasional newspaper columnist who developed a passion for local history. His 1992 book was a product of his master's degree thesis. A considerable portion of the town's historical archives are the fruit of his collecting efforts. Corbett's book can be purchased at the Town Center reception desk.
